Each Friday at 6:30pm (Feb 23, Mar 2, Mar 9, Mar 16)

Our friends and neighbors of Nueva Escuela seek to build a Latino community in the Denver Metro Area lifted by the joys of playing Latino music. Join us for these special performances that celebrate the talent and spirit of their students. They are bringing Latino music and dance – el mariachi y baile folklórico – to our Studio Theatre. They will certainly impress you!

Talkbacks with the cast

Following the performances on Feb 25, Mar 3, Mar 8, and Mar 17

Stay with us a little longer to speak with the cast members of the production. We will discuss how the show connects with their personal experiences, how they found inspiration in these roles, and what this story means for the relevant issues of today. Plus, you get a chance to ask your own questions.

Community Panel: The Dignity of Work

Sat Mar 10, 6:30pm

Join us for this important community discussion centered on the dignity of work and how this relates to the immigrant experience in the United States. As we engage in discourse at the city, state, and national level about the enormous topic of immigration, we want to give space to this issue that ties into the story of the women in “Real Women.” We welcome representatives from the Meyer Law Office and community organizations to explore this with us.
