Part of the Aurora Fox Cabaret Series, Abby Apple Boes presents an evening featuring stories and songs to take you on a journey through her life and career as a singer. From her first professional gig as the frontwoman of an '80s New Wave band to performing in cabaret clubs in Los Angeles and New York City, Abby’s path has also led her to cruise ships, Las Vegas showrooms, musical theater, and most recently, the famed Eugene O’Neill Cabaret and Performance Conference.
Lennie Watts, master teacher of the O’Neill Cabaret Conference and 10-time Manhattan Association of Cabarets award winner, said, "Abby combines intelligence, humor, and heart with a voice that rivals the best of them."
Emmy and Grammy Award winner John McDaniel, artistic director of the O’Neill Cabaret Conference, said, "Abby Apple Boes was a terrific addition to our O'Neill Theater Center cabaret season. Go see her!"
Natalie Douglas, master teacher at the O’Neill Cabaret Conference and 13-time MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets) award winner, said “A warm & inviting songstress, with loveliness of spirit & voice. An utter delight.”
Abby will be joined by Robert Lowe as music director and pianist, Randy Chavez on guitar, Lynn A. Keller on bass, and Brian Jaffe on drums.
