Davis Contemporary Dance Company performs an afternoon and evening of great dance at the Aurora Fox for the first time in Kevin “Iega” Jeff’s “Church of Nations”, and resident Choreographer Rachael Harding’s “Here-to-Go!” The company is in its Sweet Sixteenth season and excited to expand our audience to the citizens of Aurora and the theater family at the Fox. The concert dance experience for Davis Dance is always one to remember. Every audience member leaves the theater inspired, uplifted, and entertained.

Ella & Louis: Jazz Music’s Perfect Partnership with Mary Louise Lee & Robert Johnson
In 1956 Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong went into the studio and created the iconic album, Ella & Louis. The CJRO small band will perform music from this historic album in an afternoon of classic songs written by composers including Irving Berlin, the Gershwins, and more. Mary Louise Lee and Robert Johnson are both well-known Colorado artists and have occasionally performed together for over 30 years. Having the pair collaborating on Ella & Louis will be a performance you will not want to miss!

Motones and Jerseys features a stellar lineup of 9 singers, backed by a 5-piece band, singing and dancing their way through the greatest songs of the 20th century. Drawing inspiration from the iconic holiday albums of the mid-century, this upbeat holiday presentation features Motown and “Jersey” renditions of such songs as “Blue Christmas,” “O’ Holy Night,” "The Christmas Song," "Santa Baby" and a show-stopping “Run, Run, Rudolph”
